Giving & Service

Something happens when you reach out to someone else.  You forget, just a little, about your own worries and problems.  You start to get some wonderful perspective on life.

At SOTH, we believe that as we seek to give and serve other people, God starts working on us.  When we start out to help somebody else, we begin to change in the process.

Ministry happens outside our church walls in the community that surrounds us.  Jesus said, "the kingdom of God is like...a mustard seed."

For those of us not familiar with mustard seeds (which is most of us, right?), that means really, really small.

Small acts of kindness, done in response to God's love, really do have the power to change the world.
