Prayer
God loves us and wants to hear what is on our hearts. Prayer is a centerpiece of our worship, and a primary way that we both connect to God and bear each other's burdens.
But, we'll let you in on a little secret...few people feel like they really know how to pray.
There are days for each of us when we just can't find the words, or can't believe that God could really be interested in hearing what we have to say.
God is.
SOTH is a family that says, "even when you can't find the way, we'll pray with you and for you." We believe church should be a place where you can learn that art and mystery of prayer, and that is a big part of what Life at SOTH is all about.
Every Sunday you'll find a list of people that we're praying for at SOTH. Do you have a concern that you want to add to that list? When we say we're "on the path of life together," this is exactly what we mean...you're in our prayers, and we're learning to trust God and better open our hearts to him, speaking our need and listening for his voice.
